12 oils of ancient scripture

Essential Oils were a part of daily living among Hebrews, Jews, early Christians and their Gentile neighbors throughout Biblical times. Thirty six of the 39 books of the Old Testament and 10 of the 27 books of the New Testament mention essential oils or the plants that produce them. I teach a class to the women's ministry in local Churches highlighting 12 of these Essential Oils. Including the infamous Frankincense and Myrrh. I discuss their powerful abilities to heal and help us today. If this is interesting to you and you would like to learn more, chances are so will others you know. So please tell your Churches Women's Ministry to contact me so I can teach this class at YOUR church to share the powerful benefits of using Therapuetic Grade Essential Oils the way God's chosen people used them in the past. Their is so much we can learn from the scriptures and that includes health and wellness.

What are Essential Oils?

Every day we inhale, touch and taste harmful chemicals and toxins. Synthetic ingredients are in virtually every item in the home, from cleaning solutions and personal care products to food additives. But their is a healthier way to live...

Essential oils are concentrated liquids extracted from aromatic plants. These natural oils protect plants from insects, environmental conditions, and disease. If you've ever squeezed a lemon or orange peel and seen the liquid that comes out-that's the essential oil. And when grown, harvested and distilled properly, essential oils can have a wide array of uses and tremendous health benefits.

Young Living creates these Therapuetic Grade Essential oils to use topically, aromatic or as aroma therapy, for ingestion for internal support and in skin care and cleaning products. A great way to discover the power of Essential Oils is through the Everyday Oils collection. These nine powerful essential oils work as nautral, chemical free replacements for items you use every single day. You'll be amazed at the many uses you'll discover with each of the nine incredible essential oils. In fact, after discovering how simple it is to remove harmful chemicals in your home, you'll wonder how you ever lived without essential oils.

To Soy or not to Soy

Soy is a controversial plant in the field of Natural Health. While many "natural food" companies have Soy in their products, in truth it is not the best thing for you to eat. Think of the Soy Bean Plant as a Liver. What does the Liver in our body do? It detoxifies the body by sucking up all the impurities. This is exactly what the Soy Bean does for soil. Soy is an excellent resource for farmers who want to clean up their soil however that doesn't mean it should later be harvested and eaten! Some people do eat Liver but I don't recommend that as a nutritious meal. Again others may not again but their are much healthier meats to consume. Soy retains all of the toxins it pulled from the soil. If we eat soy we are essentially eating all of those toxins in the ground and if that soy wasn't organically grown you are swallowing a mouth full of pesticides and other nasty chemicals. Their is an argument for organically grown soy, talk to your organic farmer from your local farmer's market about it. As for me I choose to avoid it all together. It is also a difficult plant to digest.

Soy also can be quite harmful for woman who are recovering from Breast, Cervical or Ovarian Cancers as it is an estrogen producing plant. It may interfere with your hormonal health and create unwanted side effects. Avoid all estrogen baring plants.
I personally am moody enough and don't want fluctuating hormones.

If you drink Soy as an alternative to milk try Rice Milk, Almond Milk, Hemp Milk (yes, I said Hemp milk. It is good for other things too, hippie) or Coconut milk.
