more on Lyme Disease

Lyme Disease is not to be taken lightly. If you get a tick bite from any type of tick or a misquito bite that soon is accompanied by a rash or just seems unusually large or different from your average bugbite do what you have to do to get an antibiotic. Their are FEW times a natural health practitioner will suggest you use an antibiotic and a bull's eye rash or for treating Lyme's Disease is one of them. Once the borelia infection spreads and reproduces after about 6 weeks in the human body it can take over! And can be very hard to get rid of. If you suspect you have Lyme's disease however your blood work says you do not that doesn't mean that you do not have Lyme it only means you don't have the 4 strains of borelia that western medicine tests for that is common in the united states. Below is a list of different types of borelia which is what causes Lyme's Disease that you may be infected with that is not showing up on tests. I can do Energy Balances on these strains and if you are interested in learning more about that please contact me. Be well.

The listing includes most of the Borrelia species, including RF spirochetes.

The need for Vitamin D

"Our Nation is severly vitamin D deficient" stated my ob/gyn while I was pregnant with Eden. It was one of the few statements I actually agreed with and didn't just smile at and pretend to agree. You know the whole western medicine vs natural health opposition...ANYWAY, She was right. Because of the widely mainstream belief that the sun is bad and we need to lube up with sunscreen to protect ourselves from skin cancer we have now become a vitamin D deficient society. We still get skin cancer except now the problem is way worse because we now lack an extremely important vitamin that protects us from illness. So here is the scoop, When the Sunlight enters through the retina in our eyes it triggers the brain to tell the skin to absorb vitamin D. If you are wearing sunglasses this process will not occur. If you are wearing sunscreen this process will also not occur and infact it blocks the uv and uva rays but allows in uvb which CAUSES internal cancer!

We should be spending 1 to 2 hours in the summer sun a day to get the proper amount needed. That is of course an average and depends on where you live. But most of us do not spend 2 hours a week in the sun and if we are in the sun we are wearing sunscreen. Sunscreen is loaded with toxic chemicals that get absorbed into the skin and go straight to the blood stream and organs causing mutated cells aka cancer. When chemicals are heated they get released even faster and become even more toxic like when the sunscreen is baking in the sun on your skin. There is organic sunscreen and if you have had skin cancer before or feel you really need protection then I highly recommend using organic sunscreen. Ideally when you are in the sun you should limit it to avoid sunburn. For example, spend 15 minutes with your skin exposed then put a hat on and a long sleeve linen or use an umbrella, then 15 minutes later repeat the process. But the truth and point of this post is that we ALL need to be supplementing Vitamin D! Especially during flu season. Vitamin D is crucial for supporting the immune system and fighting colds/flus. Before you run to the herb shop and get your supplements you really should visit a Natural Health Practitioner such as myself to have your PH level tested. If you are too alkaline, vitamin D could make you even more alkalized and could make you extremely sick! For more details on Vitamin D visit Drmercola.com he is a luminary in natural health and should be an inspiration to us all. Enjoy the sunshine.

Lyme's Disease

Have you noticed that almost everyone you meet these days is suffering with Lyme's Disease. This can be a devistating bacterial infection that causes chronic fatigue, aches and pains throughout the body and serious brain fog. In extreme cases the pain is so severe it paralyzes the person or the brain fog prevents them from living a normal life and maintaining a daily routine. It was believed that the only means of getting Lyme's Disease was by being bitten by a deer tick (a very small black tick) but I am sad to report that it has been discovered that you can also get Lyme from any tick, mosquito, spider or other insect bites! That explains why so many have been infected. It is important to protect yourself against bug bites and the safest NON TOXIC way to do so is by using PURIFICATION ESSENTIAL OIL as a bug repellent by rubbing it with a carrier oil the way you would bug spray. You can purchase PURIFICATION through my website at www.youngliving.com/tanishabowen. I do warn against using regular bug spray because it has extremely toxic chemicals. Another thing you can do is take vitamin B complex supplement or even have some energy work done to clear your body of deficiencies that may be attracting the bugs to your chemistry or odor. That is why some people seem to be a mosquito magnet while others don't get bitten at all. I AM NOW DOING ENERGY BALANCES AND YOU CAN MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH ME $25 an hour. If you are suffering from Lyme's Disease please contact me so we can discuss some powerful natural ways to help you. A place to start is www.Hisgoodherbs.com and buying Teasel Root from Dr. Phil Fritchey. Blessings! (don't let the summer bugs bite =]
